On Saturday, January 4th, 2025, at 9 PM EST, the 719th Jasmine Action took place at TKTS Times Square in New York. Members of the Democratic Party of China gathered to protest against Chinese President Xi Jinping and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Chinese human rights and democracy have been long suppressed by the Chinese regime, which is in charge of the CCP. Jasmine Action is a weekly protest to call for ending the dictatorship of Chinese President Xi Jinping and overthrowing CCP’s rule in China. In addition, members who participated in the Jasmine action demanded the Chinese government release all the political prisoners.

This week’s Jasmine Action topic is to protest against the tyranny of the Chinese Communist Party and its recent persecution of the following Chinese citizens and international individuals:
