感恩节是美国人民最重要的节日之一。理解和过好感恩节，是融入美国社会的一个好方式。民主良好运营的条件，是社会的文化传统与习俗。中国民主党此次举办感恩节雅聚餐叙，正是希望帮助喜爱美国的新移民，在美国的节日中体会民主制度的文化基础。
当前美国即将发生巨变，并可能带动世界格局的剧烈变化。在这种情势下，我们这些新移民所承受的冲击可能是全世界最沉重的。这种冲击关乎每个人在艰辛奋斗后到达的新国度的兴衰与存续。我们需要相互扶持、携手前行，迎接挑战，实现梦想。此次雅聚餐叙为大家提供了交流信息、分享计划的机会，让大家在理解大环境压力的同时，明确个人方向，在跟随美国社会进步的过程中共同成长与发展。
Summary:
Thanksgiving is one of the most important holidays for the American people. Understanding and celebrating it is a meaningful way for immigrants to integrate into American society. A well-functioning democracy is grounded in shared social customs. The China Democracy Party’s Thanksgiving gathering aims to help new immigrants who love the United States experience the cultural foundation of American democracy through this national holiday.
At a time when the United States—and the world—may be on the brink of major transformation, new immigrants could be among those most affected by coming changes. How we face these challenges will determine the future of our lives and communities in this new land. Mutual support and shared vision are essential. This Thanksgiving gathering provides an opportunity to exchange information and plans, and to develop personal strategies in the context of global uncertainty—so that together we may grow and thrive with the progress of American society.
