In this lecture, the two speakers provided an in-depth analysis of the historical background, core demands, and political significance of the 1989 Chinese democratic movement, as well as its relevance to contemporary struggles for democracy and human rights in China.
在本次讲座中，两位主讲人围绕1989年中国民主运动的历史背景、核心诉求、政治意义及其在当代中国民主人权运动中的定位，展开了深入分析。
The forum revisited key moments of the Tiananmen protests and addressed ongoing debates such as whether the 1989 movement was a failure and whether it delayed China’s democratic transition.
讲座不仅回顾了六四事件的关键节点，也回应了近年来关于“八九民运是否失败”“中国民主化道路是否被拖延”的争议。
The China Democracy Party reaffirmed its commitment to the spirit of the 1989 movement, advocating for nonviolent resistance and constitutional democratic reform.
中国民主党明确表示，将继承八九民运精神，坚持非暴力抗争，推动宪政民主转型。
