2023年8月2日，中国民主党组团，会同各界人士，奔赴美国首都华盛顿，先后在老挝驻美国大使馆和中国大使馆前，抗议老挝政府屈服于中共压力，关押维权律师卢思位。下述党员积极参与做出贡献，特此嘉奖:
On August 2, 2023, the Democratic Party of China organized a delegation, together with people from other organizations, to Washington, the capital of the United States, to protest against the Lao government's submission to the pressure of the Chinese communist tyranny, to detain human rights lawyer Lu Siwei, in front of the Lao embassy in the United States and the Chinese embassy. The following party members have actively participated in and made contributions, and are hereby commended:
