The Destruction of Churches and Cross Display the Final Madness of Communist Totalitarian
Under the “reign” of Xi Jinping, the rule of despotism aggravates; deprive of human rights deteriorate; while the situation of religions worsens.
Ever since the Chinese Communist Revolution and reform, China’s despotic regime had been ruining the future sources for present benefits; exchanging destruction of fertile soil and fresh air,pollution over water resources, and reduced human rights for a sudden rise in the economy. While the elite class is gaining wealth, the lives of ordinary peoples are getting worse and worse, which led more and more citizens to realize the hypocrisy and deception of Chinese autocratic rule. Countless people had turned toward the Cross for help and hoped to follow the path of God. They adhered the path of Jesus in the seek of new hopes and beliefs. Christianity had become a serious threat to the despotic communist rule as more people yield to the Cross. On one hand, Chinese authority fears the influences of the Cross which had both religious and cultural connotation; while on another hand, China itself is right on the edge of ideological and cultural collapse which has resulted from the rule of dictatorship that gradually lose its gravity and cohesion. These reasons are sufficient to make Chinese authority afraid and panic. If the despotic government doesn't suppress the rise of the Cross from its germination stage, the Monopoly regime of China will fall hard. However, can the destruction of Church and demolition of the Cross destroy Christians’ faith and the Cross within their hearts? The emperors of Roman Empire applied every vicious method there were to oppress Christianity from spread, but even putting Christians into Colosseum and letting them be eaten alive could not “conquer” Christianity, instead, Christianity “conquered” Rome through its principles of love and forgiveness. Today, ten of millions of Christians in Chinese mainland maintained their faith under the oppression of totalitarian rule and used their action to prove their faith and ideology according to the guidance of Bible. Under the pressure of handcuff, prison, and torments, they remained the lifestyle of Christianity. In the heart of Christians, the despotic government can destroy churches and torn down the Cross through violent, however, it will be conquered by the Cross eventually.
